Mom's a little depressed because 1/2 of her vacation week is gone already. I told her she should be happy because she still has 1/2 left! I think I cheered her up.
Big news! I finally had a successful nail trimming session after so many stressful attempts. I've blocked it out but Mom said she and Dad were absolutely unable to hold me still to cut my nails. They ordered an $80 gadget off the internet which I was supposed to actually tolerate, but that was almost worse. When we went to the groomers a few times it took 3 people to hold me still and I cried and made Mom and Dad so scared and sad they had let my nails grow for about 6 months! Well, Mom made an appointment at the vet's office,
Homestead Animal Hospital, and
Kelly and
Julie cut my nails with no trouble at all! Mommy just stood there the whole time kissing me to distract me, Julie held on to me, and Kelly cut my nails without a single drop of blood!

Here's a picture of Chrissy checking out my new pedicure when I got home. She said Mom can do a home pedicure on her because she doesn't get scared and is able to hold still. Wish I could do that too - maybe when I'm all grown up? Anyway, we're so happy to have found a stress-free way to get my nails done. Oh, the simple pleasures of life!
By the way, here's a cute photo of Joanna, the newest addition to our household. She used to live with Mom's BFF Donna, and she had some puppies at Donna's house. Now, she's all through having puppies, and she's going to be spade and live with us forever! I love her! She's almost as nosy as I am!
